Tête de la Payanne (D+ 250m)       

On the tops of Bruson, “La tête de la Payanne” is an ideal discovery trip: easy access with touring skiss, 360 degree views and varied descents to Bruson or even Le Châble. Many variations are possible to extend the tour if you want!

Uphill : 1,5h maximum. Ski level : intermediate

“Bel Oiseau” (D+ 1200m)

Starting from the small Village Finhaut in Trient’s valley, “Le bel Oiseau” is a classic run with mainly generous snow conditions. Starting in the forest, to continue in very open field, the view on the Mont blanc massif and on the Emosson dam is unique.

Montée : 3h30 to 4h. Ski level: intermediate to advanced.

Freeride day in the 4 valleys

The extent of the land and the variety of terrain favourable for freeride, have done of Verbier one of the most famous freeride places in the world. The altitude ranging from 3300m to 1300m and the diversity of the land allow for all levels to enjoy freeriding in various meteorological conditions.

The Saint Bernard country, close neighbour of Verbier, offers great possibilities of ski touring trips. Wether in the Arlette valley or starting from Champex or in the Fouly region, the trip “Pays du St-Bernard” will be adapted to the conditions of the day by the guide. Let’s discover!

Snowshoe trekking

An easy snowshoe hike to discover the forests around Verbier. As we walk, we’ll observe the different environments we pass through and, by the end of the walk, we’ll be able to recognise the tracks and signs of the animals that live here. Picnic lunches available for all ages. Surprise snack provided.

Offered dates: Saturdays from 9am to 3pm, meeting at 8.45am in front of the Savoleyres ticket office (day rate).

For those who don’t like getting up early, a snowshoe trek to the Bisse du Levron waterfall. Breakfast based on home-made products at the 1st stop. At the 2nd stop, enjoy an open-air raclette. Stop 3: surprise dessert and learn how to build a fire in the snow. For all levels.

Zinal – Zermatt

Connecting Val d’Anniviers to Zermatt skis on feet ! The first day, climb up to the Great Mountet hut from Zinal:(D+ 1300 – 4h30). The second day, early morning start towards Col Durand, then descent to Zermatt (D+ 700m – 6h30 to Zermatt)

Haute Route

A legendary route linking Chamonix to Zermatt, the Haute Route is a six-day journey in which time stands still. The effort will be amply rewarded by the unique views and ambience of the high mountains.

With one day less than the classic Haute Route, the route from Verbier to Zermatt has nothing to envy its big sister. For five days, glide down the glacier slopes and immerse yourself in the high mountains on skis.

Summits

Bishorn

A 4000 meters peak, technically easy that is very suitable for ski-touring.The view on the imperial crown and its different 4000meters is unique.

First day: Climb up to Tracuit hut from Zinal (D+ +1600m – 4h30)

Second day : Early morning start from the hut towards the Bishorn (D+ 900m – 3h. Total 5h).

Ski level: Good

In the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park, this 4061m peak is ideal as a first experience at these altitudes. A change of scenery, an Italian welcome and a summit that lends itself well to ski touring make this a popular classic.

Day 1: Ascent to the Vittorio Emmanuel hut from Pont, Valsavarenche (D+ 800m – 2h30)

Day 2: Early departure for Gran Paradiso and return to the valley (D+ 1300m – 3h40/4h ascent, 2h descent to the valley).

Ski level: Good

Prince : from 495.- per person (maximum 4 pers per guide)

The mythical mountain of the Verbier region. At 4314m, the Grand Combin and its glaciers command respect. There’s an ingenious route to reach the summit by ski touring, but you’ll still need to carry your skis and walk with crampons. A unique summit! 

Day 1: Ascent from Fionnay to the Panossière hut (D+ 1100m – 3h)

Day 2: Very early start (2h30) from the Panossière hut. Climb up the Corbassière glacier and then reach the summit via the Couloir du Gardien (on foot/with crampons). (D+ 1700m – 6h. Total: around 9h30 with the descent). 

Ski level: Good to very good. Mountaineering experience required.

Offered dates : 11 – 12th May 2024 

Price : from 985.- per person (1 guide per 2 persons) 

The multi-day activities include supervision by the guide and half-board in the hut.

Other costs such as travel, ski lifts, picnics, special equipment hire and other extras are not included.
