  • 30/35L comfortable backpack designed for ski touring (ski and ice axe carry system)

  • Ski goggles

  • Thermos or water bottle (minimum 1 liter)
  • Survival blanket
  • Headlamp (charged)
  • Waterproof pouch with ID, CAS membership card if applicable, cash, insurance documents, and public transport pass
  • Day’s picnic and snacks (picnic can also be purchased at the refuge)
  • Personal first aid kit
  • For overnight in the hut: sleeping liner, thermal top and spare socks, cleansing wipes (as water is not always available in huts), small toiletry kit

Technical and rescue gear :

  • Skis with touring bindings, skins, ski crampons, and poles with large baskets for off-piste skiing
  • Ski touring boots
  • Avalanche transceiver (3 antennas minimum and marking function), shovel, and probe
  • Harness, crampons (with anti-snow plates), and ice axe

Your outing

Day 1 :

  • Duration: approx. 2h walking

Departure for Grindelwald by public transport, then boarding the legendary Jungfraujoch train. After reaching the heights, a spectacular descent leads to the Konkordia Hut (2,850m), in the heart of the glaciers.

Day 2 :

  • Duration: approx. 6h walking

Ascent of the Grüneghorn (3,787m) for a breathtaking panorama, followed by a traverse to the Finsteraarhorn Hut (3,048m) via the Grünhornlücke Pass.

Day 3 :

  • Duration: approx. 5h30 walking

Conquest of the Gross Wannenhorn (3,906m), an iconic summit offering stunning views, before returning to the Finsteraarhorn Hut for a convivial evening in the refuge.

Day 4 :

  • Duration: approx. 5h30 walking

Ascent of the Wysse Nollen (3,590m) for another day of adventure, then traverse to the Konkordia Hut.

Day 5 :

  • Duration: approx. 5h walking

Climb to the summit of Kranzberg (3,666m) before reaching the Hollandia Hut (3,240m), nestled in a spectacular setting.

Day 6 :

  • Duration: approx. 6h walking

To cap off this adventure, ascend the Aebnifluh (3,960m) followed by an unforgettable descent into the Lötschental Valley. Return by public transport to complete this memorable journey.
