Several options are available, including the half traverse, which is more accessible, or the full traverse, which is longer and more demanding.

Your outing

Day 1 :

Meeting point at Champex-Lac, where you will meet your mountain guide. From there, a chairlift will take you up to Breya, where the trail to the Trient Hut begins. The hike offers stunning balcony views of the neighboring Combins massif.

Day 2 :

An early start to cross the Trient Glacier towards the Brèche Crettez, the starting point of our traverse of the Aiguilles Dorées. The half traverse takes about 4 hours and 30 minutes, including rappels, while the full traverse from east to west takes around 9 hours. After returning to the glacier, we will descend back to Champex-Lac in about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
