In the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park, this 4061m peak is ideal for a first experience at these altitudes. With its stunning scenery, warm Italian hospitality, and a summit well-suited for ski touring, this classic route is a favorite.

Day 1: Ascent to the Vittorio Emmanuel Hut from Pont, Valsavarenche (Elevation gain: +800m – 2h30)

Day 2: Early morning departure for the Gran Paradiso and descent back to the valley (Elevation gain: +1300m – 3h40/4h of ascent, 2h descent to the valley).
