Multi-Pitch Climbing: Introduction and Progression

Do you love the vertical world and rock climbing? Do you want to push further and higher? We offer a training course designed to help you gain independence in multi-pitch climbing. Climbing involves not only movement and technique, but also mental strength, fear management, and endurance; it is a beautiful and complete sport that requires solid skills.

To provide you with the knowledge needed for safe climbing, we offer this training course, which includes a day of instruction followed by a practical day climbing a multi-pitch route. Our passionate mountain guides, who specialize in climbing, will teach you rope work, building anchors, route management, and abseiling techniques.

Whether granite, gneiss, or limestone, the Verbier and Entremont region offers a wide variety of cliffs, allowing you to progress in a stunning alpine environment with ideal learning conditions.

Your outing

Day 1 :

Meet your guide in the morning. The approach to the climbing site allows time for introductions and discussing your goals and motivations. During this first day, you will learn rope work, building anchors, belaying a second climber, abseiling techniques, and how to manage a climbing route.

Day 2:

After a well-deserved night in a hut or hostel, we will tackle a multi-pitch route where everyone will have the chance to lead a pitch and apply the skills learned during the course.
