Your outing

Day 1 : Verbier –  Cabane Prafleuri

  • Elevation : +1200m/-1200m
  • Duration : Approximately 5 hours

Depart via the Verbier lifts, then skin up to the Col de La Chaux. After a short descent, ascend Rosablanche (3337m), then descend to Prafleuri Hut (2935m).

Day 2 : Cabane Prafleuri – Cabane des Dix

  • Elevation : +930m/-840m
  • Duration : Approximately 6 hours

Ascend to Col des Roux (2804m), traverse along the Lac des Dix, and climb up to Dix Hut (2928m). Overnight at the foot of Mont-Blanc de Cheillon.

Day 3 : Ascend the Pigne d’Arolla

  • Elevation: +900m/-700m
  • Duration : Approximately 5 hours

Climb to Pigne d’Arolla (3790m), a vantage point in the heart of the Alps, then descend to Vignettes Hut (3160m).

Day 4 : Cabane des Vignettes – Cabane Bertol

  • Elevation : +820m/-650m
  • Duration : Approximately 6 hours

Traverse to Col de l’Evêque (3386m), descend on the upper Arolla glacier, and ascend to Bertol Hut (3311m). Majestic views of Dent-Blanche.

Day 5 : Cabane Bertol – Zermatt

  • Elevation : +413m/-2100m
  • Duration : Approximately 7 hours

Ascend Tête Blanche (3724m) and descend at the foot of the impressive north faces of Dent d’Hérens and the Matterhorn. Return to civilization heading towards Zermatt.
