Already have a solid foundation in ski touring and looking to take the next step towards independence? This three-day course will help you deepen your knowledge and develop a more comprehensive approach to planning and leading ski touring outings.

Alongside a certified mountain guide, you’ll work on advanced terrain assessment, identifying avalanche hazards and interpreting snowpack conditions.

You’ll learn how to plan more complex routes using winter maps and various tools to support your decision-making. The course will also cover the fundamentals of glacier travel and safety.

Each day will give you the opportunity to put your knowledge into practice in real mountain situations, helping you develop your analytical skills, confidence and independence.
