Looking to discover a new discipline and explore the fascinating world of ice climbing? This two-day course invites you to take your first steps on frozen waterfalls, accompanied by a certified mountain guide.

You’ll start by getting familiar with specialist equipment, including crampons and ice axes, and learning the essential techniques for moving safely on ice. Through practical exercises, you’ll develop your balance, footwork and basic ice climbing skills.

You’ll also be introduced to belaying techniques and climbing as a rope team, before tackling your first pitches as a second climber. Depending on your progress and the conditions, you may also discover the fundamentals of lead climbing.

Two full days dedicated to hands-on practice, at ice climbing sites selected according to the conditions and the group’s ability.
