You have mastered the basics of avalanche rescue and now wish to perfect your decision-making skills in alpine terrain. This two-day module is designed to help you go further and boost your confidence during your mountain outings.

Main Objectives :

• Knowledge revision: Review and consolidate the knowledge from Module 1 | Safety & Avalanches.
• Trip planning: Learn how to effectively plan your mountain outings.
• 3×3 method: Deepen your understanding of conditions, terrain, and human factors.
• Environmental awareness: Understand the importance of protecting wildlife and flora.
• Slope assessment: Learn how to estimate and measure terrain slope.
• Graphical reduction method: Apply this method to minimize risks.
• Safe behaviors: Adopt behaviors that reduce risks in the mountains.
• Rescue skills: Be capable of performing an effective rescue operation if needed.
