My First Ski Touring Adventure

Activity details

Looking to discover the mountains away from ski lifts and busy slopes? Ski touring opens the door to a whole new world, where the pleasure of the ascent is just as rewarding as the descent.

This introductory day will give you the opportunity to discover the basics of ski touring, accompanied by a certified mountain guide. You’ll learn how to use specialist equipment, get familiar with climbing skins, find a comfortable pace on the ascent and practise your first kick turns.

Your guide will take you on an accessible route, chosen according to the conditions and the group’s ability. Throughout the day, you’ll discover the satisfaction of making your way up the mountain under your own power, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and rewarding yourself with a beautiful ski descent after the climb.
